Our Sales Administration Customer Care Team are available from 09.00-17.00 Monday to Friday excluding public holidays. They are able to direct initial enquiries as well as answer generalist questions about our products and services.

Slings are Class One Medical Devices and are subject to Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) Examinations. A LOLER examination may only be conducted by a person trained and qualified to do so. Space is provided on our GLOVE™ and COMFORT VALUE™ sling labels to note LOLER details. For a small fee, Care & Independence will undertake a LOLER examination for our customers upon request. Please contact us for further information.
REPLACEMENT LABEL SERVICE
It is a health and safety requirement that a label remains legible throughout the working life of a sling product. Laundering over a prolonged period of time may cause the label to fade. Care & Independence will replace faded labels on our sling products for a small fee. Please contact us to arrange.
OUT OF WARRANTY PRODUCT REPAIRS
Care & Independence products come with a minimum of a three year warranty for COMFORT VALUE™, 15 year frame warranty on Bathing frames and a lifetime manufacturing warranty on GLOVE SLINGS™. Should you experience a faulty or damaged product, we may replace or repair free of charge whilst covered by the warranty or for a nominal fee if outside of the warranty period. Our School Clinic service provides specialist assistance to occupational therapists working with less-abled children within an educational setting.
Typically taking place over a morning or afternoon, our local Product Specialist will visit the school to undertake a thorough assessment of those pupils in your care. Whether they are new to the school and without a sling, or if they are exisiting pupils whom have simply had a growth spurt, we will help ensure every child has the right sling and right fit based on their individual needs.
