To work within a defined area with prescribing clinicians - Occupational Therapists, Manual Handling Advisors/ Leads, Physiotherapists etc. predominantly within Local Authorities assessing for and demonstrating mobility equipment (patient slings & bathing equipment). Increase brand awareness and provision of products via both existing customers and new customers.

Responsibilities

  • Development of the geographical area to meet the agreed targets and objectives;
  • Develop, maintain and expand strong & long-lasting relationships with OTs in area based on trust, honesty & our values;
  • Manage the relationship between Care & Independence (C&I), OTs and End Users as the first point of contact;
  • Demonstrate the USP’s of working with Care & Independence;
  • Design solutions bespoke to the End User and measure/ demonstrate as appropriate (Specials);
  • Profitably grow the joint assessment volumes and revenue levels of the area by delivering on the above and being the “go-to” person for the OTs that you work with;
  • Ensure consistency in the delivery of service levels, targets and goals set for your area;
  • Work as part of a team to support development and implementation of new products and solutions to support the company’s expansion and other initiatives;
  • Identify opportunities for contracts / frameworks for supply of equipment;
  • Assist with market research and local insights to remain topical within the industry and region;
  • Plan, organise and carry out customer training sessions;

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in field sales/ service engineer or a clinical role; resolving issues and ideally carrying out product assessments;
  • Excellent understanding and demonstrable knowledge of the social healthcare system including community equipment provision and the equipment loan store system.
  • Experience of relationship building and solving problems with multiple stakeholders including clinicians.
