Care & Independence have announced Andrew Wilding as Area Sales Manager for the North West of England as maternity cover.  Formerly best known for his heading up of Throne UK, Andrew (or Ande as he is more commonly known), has over 12 years industry experience with mobility products and in providing assessment-led moving and handling solutions – including as a distributor for the Care & Independence glove sling® and comfort value® sling brands. 

“Ande has both the ability and aptitude to confidently step into this important support role for our customers in the North West of England,” explained James Bennett, Sales Director.  “Already established in our market sector and with a wealth of user insight, Ande is a great go-to-person to assist with joint assessments for sling and assisted bathing needs.  I have no doubt he will quickly integrate himself as a key moving and handling specialist in the region.”

Following his initial induction period, alongside free joint assessments Ande will also be able to provide localised free training for groups of occupational therapists in fitting techniques and best moving and handling practice.  “I have always admired the ethos of Care & Independence in improving lives which closely aligned with my own values,” said Ande.  “I am delighted to be a part of such a well-recognised team in delivering impactive and real-world solutions that really do make a difference.”
